Trump Responds to Biden with “MAGA Garbage Truck” Stunt
Former President Donald Trump arrived at a Wisconsin airport on Wednesday in a “big, beautiful MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN Garbage Truck.” Wearing an orange safety vest, Trump called out, “How do you like my garbage truck?” as it drove on the tarmac. He added, “This truck is in honor of Kamala and Joe Biden.”
The stunt followed President Biden’s controversial remark calling some Trump supporters “garbage” during a campaign call. Biden was responding to comedian Tony Hinchcliffe’s comment referring to Puerto Rico as a “floating island of garbage” at Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally. Biden condemned the demonization of Latinos, calling it “unconscionable and un-American.”
Republicans React and Trump Denies Ties to Comedian
Republicans criticized Biden’s remark, comparing it to Hillary Clinton’s “basket of deplorables” comment in 2016. The White House clarified Biden’s statement, suggesting he was addressing Hinchcliffe directly. Biden later wrote on X, “His demonizations of Latinos is unconscionable. That’s all I meant to say.”
Asked about Hinchcliffe’s comments, Trump distanced himself, denying knowledge of the comedian. “I don’t know anything about him,” Trump said, reiterating his support for Puerto Rico. “Nobody has done more for Puerto Rico than me. They love me, and I love them.”
Hinchcliffe defended his remark, calling it a joke. The MAGA garbage truck accompanied Trump’s motorcade to his Green Bay rally, where he is set to speak tonight.
