Former First Lady Melania Trump strongly criticized the “terrible” attacks from Democrats suggesting her husband, Donald Trump, resembles Hitler. In an interview with Fox News’ “Fox & Friends,” she expressed her disapproval of the recent rhetoric.
“It’s terrible,” Melania stated, emphasizing that her husband is not Hitler. “All of his supporters stand behind him because they want to see the country succeed — and look at the support he has.”
She added, “He loves his country and wants to make it successful for everyone. He genuinely cares about people and is committed to making this country great again.”
Her comments came shortly after Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz faced backlash for comparing Trump’s recent rally at Madison Square Garden to a notorious pro-Nazi event held there in the 1930s. During a stop in Henderson, Nevada, Walz remarked, “There’s a direct parallel to a big rally that happened in the 1930s at Madison Square Garden.”
The Trump campaign and Republican leaders quickly condemned Walz’s comparison, labeling it a “shameful” attack.
